Completion: August 2006Construction of a new 100,000 square foot elementary school, situated in a large residential development, in northeast Jacksonville. The 50-acre school campus was carved out of nearly 400 acres.
The two-story school was designed for 788 students, with the ability to expand to 1,200 students, and was built to alleviate overcrowding from a nearby elementary school. Construction included 36 classrooms, a media center, cafetorium, computer lab, art lab, and music lab. The school was also wired for audio-visual equipment to be purchased after completion of the project.
