The ROC Family Life Building is a 51,000 square foot facility on a seven acre campus in the Fruit Cove community of Jacksonville. The three-story, tilt wall and steel frame design was in response to a large program and tight site.
The building features a large grouping of classrooms on the ground floor (24 pre-school classrooms), totalling 16,000 SF. During weekdays, the area is used to house a pre-school program.
The conference center and dining hall are located off the main entry vestibule and are supported by a large, commercially appointed kitchen with walk-in cooler/freezer and dish washing area. The kitchen and dining area can accommodate up to 800 persons at a single seating.
A multi-use court on the second floor is capable of supporting full court basketball, volleyball, or two cross court games of each for Hoop League play. A concessions area is provided as well as storage for tables and chairs for over 500 persons.
