SOUTH CHILLER PLANT, PIPELINE, TANK & PUMP BLDG. | EMBRY-RIDDLE AERONAUTICAL UNIVERSITY

This project consisted of 3 projects rolled into one. The first was the renovation of the existing south chiller plant. It was totally gutted and renovated. The south plant was converted from ice (glycol) to chilled water. The next is the construction of a 4.66 million gallon chilled water tank and associated pump bldg at a location approximately 1 mile away. The third part was to directional drill 2 – 20″ HDPE chilled water lines to connect the tank and pump bldg to the south chiller plant on the main campus. The pipeline included open cut pipe installation, horizontal directional drilling parallel to Clyde Morris Blvd, and 3 jack and bore crossings of Clyde Morris Blvd.
